Not for nothing...but I just redeemed 2 tix each in BF for EWR-GIG....AND EWR-AMS for the summer without a problem....I haven't really experienced any problems redeeming...others have...but then again...people have some sort of problem with every airline.

I think it's terrific that you were able to get tickets for this summer! I am curious about the EWR-AMS, because I have been trying for a few weeks to do the same thing (Since Feb 1)... Are you flying CO or KLM? On Standard rewards? I tried a search for June and July for JFK/EWR-AMS in BF and was told on a few calls that there were NO seats available except mileage busters, and thus burned 200,000 miles per.. The good news was that I was able to secure ongoing flts to JNB for the same mileage, that IS a bonus.. It does kinda burn me up that I can purchase FC tickets on another airline from EWR-JNB for LESS than HoKeY fares on CO/KLM (this is questionable, as so far, CO has not been able to upgrade purchased KLM seats for Africa). And I am truly sorry for the CO harping; between my "divorce" from "my longtime partner" CO, and quitting smoking, the stress is kinda getting to me.

Fish....I'm flying on Standard reward from EWR-AMS on 7/12 with return of 7/19....CO metal all the way...CO #'s 70 and 71. Guess I got the right agent or maybe because I needed only 2 tix....like I said...I haven't had any problems with redemption at regular levels (I don't do mileage busters) at all. I leave mostly out of EWR but sometimes out of PHL.
