Getting back to the original post, I'll be travellng through Term A this afternoon (abit on a US flight to CLT), so I'll check out the progress and let everyone know about the 'security screening' station.

I asked yesterday afternoon when I was there and the agent told me that they'd have this done by this weekend. You'll clear security, then go into the PC - does not sound like they'll have a separate security line though.

Just passed the new security set up last night. Now you clear security and then go into the PC. I could not tell if it had it's own line or not, but there are 3 lines at those gates instead of 2 like they used to have. That should at least cut the wait by 1/3 (in theory).

Yes, there is new news. There is now a 3rd insecurity line at terminal A. It is not an elite/FC only line, but now you clear insecurity before the PC. Lines were really short yesterday afternoon.
