Dress Code for Events?

Hello, everyone. I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I was wondering what people were planning to wear for the events on Friday and Saturday. I'm not upgraded from on the inbound from LAX, and the flight is packed, so it's not always easy even as a Plat to get the FA's to hang a suit in the closet. Also, are people wearing different things to the different events? I was assuming everyone would dress casually for the Terminal E tour, but I wasn't sure about Larry's event or the Friday and Saturday dinners.

I am making this part of a work trip, so I will have a suit if need be. However, I am thinking business casual would be the most appropriate attire for all of the events.

Given that the menus are Texas BBQ for Friday and Mexican Buffet for Saturday, they both strike me as quite casual.

Out of curiousity, what are the entry requirements for the Federal Republic of Texas? Do I need my passport?

OMG we need passports? I usually only transit in Texas!

Hmmm... Casual huh? Should I leave my bright yellow suit at home?

I previously asked about attire and Cigarman indicated "cruise" casual. I took that to mean business casual - what you usually wear on the plane.

For most of us that likely means no jeans and tshirts - but also - no coat and tie.

Don't forget the visa for your passports...it's available from the ROT (Republic of Texas) embassy

I'm glad someone posted this and would like to know if anyone has other opinions. Based on the menu selection, I'm thinking it's going to be quite casual for the dinners. For the tour and meeting, I would assume business casual.

If you are not staying at the Marriott, there would be no opportunity to change between the tour/meeting and the Sat. dinner - which immediately follow. Since the food is being served in the hotel ballroom, I assume it will not be on paper plates, etc - so it likely would not be so messy.

Honestly, I was going to leave my work clothes at home and come casual. For me that means jeans, polo or button down shirt and sneakers.

I now may have reconsider that.

I was wondering that myself

I'll probably do pantsuits (I'll probably be overdressed, but that's ok), but I'm wondering the same for Mr. FemaleFlyer. He would probably prefer to do jeans (he's an engineer who wears khakis every day at work) and boots (we're local so boots are a must).

I was assuming that e'd be formal -- California formal (which means we'd wear socks).

I heard the cruise casual line too. Having never been on a cruise, though, I wasn't sure what that meant.

You don't need a passport or Visa, but you will need to scream out a strong "Yee Haw" in order to enter.

I was talking with somebody last night regarding the dress code and neither one of us have ever been on a cruise so that piece of advice did not help.

I have decided to wear a pair of jeans and a button down shirt.
