Checking Reservation Online?
Is there such a thing as a system which allows you to check your Continental reservations (i.e. flight details, allocated seats etc) online (i.e. regardless of TA used)?
I thought that there was such a system, but am not sure if I saw it on another forum or dreamt it...

ITYT | Continental Airlines Reservations Status Display
Require a Onepass account entered into the reservation. Enjoy.

I have to say dbaker's is the easiest platform to review reservations on CO. NW has instituted something close to it, but a bit more secure, need your pin. Although, I sure do love the ingenuity here on FT! (kudos to moonlight labs as well)

OK, I got through to the Continental eticket site after many attempts, but when I tried to pull up a reservation (which requires you to find the confirmation number, ugh), it said:
I truly and seriously would like to meet the guy that run this operation. It'd be a nice project to turn that ship around. Alas.

You have either entered your eTicket Confirmation Number or Traveler Last Name incorrectly. In order to retrieve your eTicket Receipt, please re-type your Confirmation Number and Traveler Last Name in the boxes below:

The continental URL above is NOT supposed to do what was requested.
It only shows the ticket at the time it was issued. It's like a digital print out. And it's only generated if it is specifically requested. (You ask for an email receipt; this can theoretically be done by calling reservations, though I haven't tried it.)
That said, you can call up a reservation through eService Web site, but it's cumbersome. The Palm application is a much better way to do it ... apparently they've got the two guys who can actually write code working on that one. (Either that or they haven't buried them under four levels of review.)
