Anybody remember what happened to NBA referees for doing the same thing. Hope you are reporting that income.

Wow, Arya, will you upgrade me on DL too once you get your PM??? Oooh I wanna go, I wanna go! Better yet, what about InfiniteUpgrades with InfiniteAirways??? Just a hint, some of us (or is it only me?) spend way too much time on these boards and read other airlines.

Anyone notice that there are posts in this thread that have been deleted? Not edited, mind you, completely "zapped into the cornfield" deleted.

Forgive my intrusion in the CO board, but after following kanebears cross-post in the DL forum and taking a couple of minutes to read some past posts here I have to say that I think you are correct. The selfsame lack of laguage skills that Jag/Infinite showed seems to support your position.
The thing that really got me laughing was the, "I am 6'-3", 220 lbs, and ready and willing to mix it up" (or words to that effect). In my experience statements like that invariably mean that this guy (kid?) is more like 5'-2", 130 lbs, and probably a lot smaller in, ahem, "other areas" as well.

Though an OT non sequitur, how do you feel about Bloombergs previous life as a left (un peu) of center Democrat? I was never a big fan of Green so it strikes me that if Bloomberg can (unlike Guliani) avoid pandering to the obvious "culture war" pitfalls he could have a very successful tenure. But then what do I know?
Cheers.[This message has been edited by anrkitec (edited 11-07-2001).]

I do think the language he used in that thread will lead to his eventual banishment--that I would bet on.
Bloomberg wise, I was more of a "anyone but Green" kinda guy. I've been involved in City politics for a number of years and when I worked for Rudy in '89 he looked to the casual observer like a total amateur as well-- people laughed in my face when I was fund-raising for him. One extremely prominent NY Democrat (a former Governor's personal lawyer) tried to have my father "straighten me out" for being with Rudy. He said (and I'm quoting) "If that [Rudy] gets in we'll have race-riots!"
Keep in mind, this conversation was in '93-- after several summers of, well, race riots.
In any case, it's my understanding that several commissioners and lots of other staff will be invited to stay on, and maybe that will help. I don't have particularly high hopes, but I'm certain Mark Green would have been a Dinkins do-over, and that, would have been very, very bad, IMHO. Needless to say your statement that Rudy "Pandered to the obvious "culture war" pitfalls"-- means nothing to me and I think it's nonsense.
Maybe we should "take it to Omni?"

Are you sure the kid just doesn't need antipsychotropic or ADHD medication?
What an imagination... the kid could be an author... if only he had some grasp of diction.

I don't know why anyone would be getting upset here. I mean, if Infinite Airways is back, this is cause for celebration. Maybe their web site will start operating again.
I know I plan on being on the first IA flight available.
