2005 Elite card arrives

Didn't notice if anyone posted yet but got my gold elite card for 2005 today.

Contents:

Cover letter with card affixed (card has skyteam logo next Co logo)

4 currency coupons

2 sticky luggage ID cards

2005 Elite members guide

I was hoping for a couple of PC passes but no dice....

....
what's a sticky luggage ID card? is it just a sticky-backed paper to slap on the side of a bag?

I really wish they would give us the option of paying for some nice elite luggage tags

I am with ya there - it would be nice to have something personalized.

I remember when I became Gold for the first time and got the nice metal bag tag. I was rather proud of it.

Now that I am plat for the first time I think I am going to get a whole lotta nuthing!

I think that you are suppose to put it on the inside of the bag.

Plats got 4 coupons as well.

Yeah, you put the stickers on the inside of the bag.

I just recently found my 2003 Elite luggage tags. I think I am going to throw them on a couple bags... maybe replace the 3 with a 5.

I was a day late and a dollar short with my first year's elite status...too late for the P-Club passes.

Yup, it's the ones you fill in your address and stick it somewhere inside your bag, so when they rip the handle off they can look inside and see which elite's stuff they are going to sell on e-bay or something......

Platinum Credentials

Yep, got the new Platinum Card today, with 4 Continental Currency Coupons , the pair of sticky (or is that tacky?) luggge ID Tags that you put inside your checked baggage, and the new Elite guide titled "From Travelled to Well-Travelled"

Oh well.......... I would have thought that Plats should have got 6 coupons compared to Gold who got 4.

Sky Team Logo

Has anyone mentioned the new "Sky Team Elite Plus" logo next to the CO trademark on the front of the card? I can't remember what the benefits are for this.

Plus... what is the deal with Plat's and Gold's getting the same number of coupons...next thing you know silvers will be getting unlimited upgrades.

Free lounge access for any Sky Team member (not sure about premium lounges - e.g. Delta's Business Elite Lounge) when traveling internationally on any SkyTeam partner.
