I haven't flown coach on NW since I made elite, except for one voluntary downgrade sometime last year.

B747....your experience begs the question, why do you give them the business if you get treated that way? In the case of Phoenix, they are hardly the monopoly carriers, and as for Silver Elite, they practically give it away on both CO and NW.
