When do premium seats open?

When do premium seats open?
I've got a trip at the beginning of July and am wondering when the premium seats at the front of coach open up. Do they release them some at a time as you get closer to the flight, or keep them off limits until check-in?
Right now, I've got a bad seat assignment for at least one of my flights, but there are seven or eight full rows seemingly available in the premium rows.

Unfortunately, I am not elite. I may be by the end of the year (as long as they don't find out about me talking with JAWS!)

You got that one right. From now on when I post something, just ignore it. That way you can read it and CO will not know you even came close to JAWs.
