Statements late again

I just checked my statement on-line and guess what, once again its late.

The onepass website shows 1-4-00 as my latest statement date.

Of course, other airlines let you see current activity on their web site without playing the waiting game. Come on Continental, where's the statement?

I must confess, CO has remedied my sole lingering complaint (late statements). I've been getting my statements on a timely basis for a couple of months now, even with no flight activity.

It took a couple of nasty-grams, they did take care of me.

My current on-line statement closed 11/7/99 also. I'm not a big DL fan, in general, but they are the BEST when it cames to paper statements (once a month, like clockwork) and on-line statement updates. It seems like this shouldn't be that difficult.

Back before 1994 the elite statements came by first Class mail, arriving about 3 weeks after the end of the statement period.

All things considered I wouldn't want to go back to the 'ol days.

I guess I should feel honored that my statements are as up to date as they are

Note to OldGold:

Of course I don't a return to the bad old days, but a program that's so good in so many ways should be better at communicating with its members.

Maybe my statements are hanging out with NJDavid's COOL specials

Boomer:

What is more important to me is that my statements have credit for allmy flights and mileage generating transactions then how quickly they come in the mail. The online statements ar usually posted by about the 20th of the month, which is OK with me.

This is one area (and one of the few ...) in which DL excels. Flights are posted on their web-site as soon as your plane TAKES OFF!! Their snail mail statements are months behind though. Segment upgrades post to your account very quickly too. If DL can do it, I'm sure CO can!!

If I were to choose between CO and DL I would go for the elite upgrades on any paid fare over the instant crediting of mileage any day!

I agree with you, however I was just pointing out an area that Continental can improve on.

As of today 16 February 2000, received my statement for 1/6/00 - 2/5/00. Wish they would/could post a bit sooner.

True...I have cheked online my statement and it is updated till the 6/2. Since this time i had 6 flights (about 18 000 miles).

It seems that to see the most up to date info on your acount you should check the "current accout info" though. I can see there info till the 18/02/00 !!! So use this function instead you will at least see your updated milage...

Btw i can not see any miles on flights flew on Alaska in my statement (i flew on alaska 1 month ago)and also no Mariott's mile. Is it Normal?

Thought I'd update this one since my account still hasn't been updated from 11/7/99. I e-mailed customer service and asked why updated statements are such a problem for CO when UA and DL seem to have figured out how to update statements online. Received a response to my e-mail telling me to call onepass for an explanation of their system for updating statements. This response seems to have missed the point. I don't really care what their program is for updating accounts. All I know is that it takes way too long and there seems to be no really convincing reason for the slowness of it. CO's cluelessness on this point is hard to understand. If anyone at CO reads this, please work on this...
