Availability of RewardOne
I just tried to sign up for their highly-marketed Reward One, only to find out that it is only available in certain cities. Just to try, I entered the zip codes of Houston, Newark, and Cleveland all to no avail. Has anyone had success enrolling in the program??

it worked for me using a SAN address.
unfortunately, I was busy and lost the paperwork, so I ended up not enrolling in the program.
does anyone have experiences with rewardone and any caveats I should be aware of? I'm about to call them again soon.

My business is 5 minutes away from EWR and you think that they would put the program in places near their hubs. I guess you can never figure out what the airlines reasoning is.....

Tute84 - ahhh, perhaps you need to think like a marketing person.
Somebody, like yourself, who lives 5 minutes away from their NJ hub, probably already uses CO a lot, whether you like to or not. So, why give you something extra when you are probably going to use CO anyways.
Whereas, somebody who doesn't live near the hub, needs that little extra 'push' to use CO. Perhaps that is the thinking with "Reward One".

I guess that's something typical for the airlines to do!
Anyway, just to see if I could get in by calling up, they told me that it wasn't available out of EWR, and they put me on a list and sent me some travel discount certs and 500 mi upgrade coupons just for trying to sign up!
