Ewr-tlv/tlv-ewr
a few items; turns out that although i got bumped on my orginal flight departing EWR back on 9/26, turns out that they said the flight on 9/27 wasnt in need of any vols, so much for going extra early. Turns it was over by 4 but once you checked-in you at the same time checked-out of being bumped.
I cant complain since it turns out my flight on 9/26 left with 5 emply seats in the back, I got the bump 2 1/2 hrs B4 the flight, didnt stick around to find out if was the only one that night.
I did do a double bump on my return thou. Only prob the offer was only $500, but that put me $400 over my tkt cost, so NO complaints. Almost did a triple, they saw me last night and asked if I wanted to do another bump. they bumped close to 30 but no partys of 1 or 2 . so Im back. Just checked the flights thru to the 22nd, no seats available for sale. Man I could have have owned the airline if it worked out last night. lol with all those vouchers.
At least we got a decent hotel room and meals alone with the vouchers. Heard they started using a 3 star hotel instead last night. it aint gonna get any better as of Sun 10/17 CO will be down to 1 777 aday on Sun/Mon on the run out of TLV, dont know what the pic looks like out of EWR.
the worst part is in order to get the voucher over there you need to go to a special desk and boy is that guy slow. so if you arent near the front of the line it can take a very long time till you get it. Had Igot the bump last night at 10;15pm I estimated I wouldnt have been in the hotel much before 1:30am.
