EUA to Oslo?

Does this route qualify given that it's not BizElite? And how does the biz product rate?

Per the upgrade terms it would appear not to qualify, though I have no direct experience with the flight.

OnePass Elite upgrades are valid for travel within or between the 48 contiguous U.S., Alaska, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Elite upgrades are also available on select flights within or between the Mid Pacific and Asia. Continental Airlines flights with a BusinessFirst cabin, including transatlantic and transpacific flights, flights to/from Central and South America, or within and between Hawaii, the Mid Pacific and Asia are not eligible for Elite upgrades.

A: No CO flight offers BusinessElite.

B: Like all CO European flights, this flight offers BusinessFirst.

C: There are countless existing threads discussing the good and bad of BusinessFirst service. Please do a search.

D: You don't really expect EUA on a flight to Europe, do you?

1. Continental offers BusinessFirst. Delta offers BusinessElite.

2. The flight from EWR-Oslo IS a BusinessElite equipped flight.

3. No, you will not get an automatic upgrade.

EWR OSL is a BusFirst flight. Only upgrades done are due to oversell in coach.

you guys are a-holes.

rhermoso, your flight to olso is on a 757-200. i know this may seem odd to most, but CO offers trans-atlantic service on 757's. CO's 757-200'a that cross the atlantic do offer BusinessFirst (bizelite is on DL), so to simply answer your question.... no, you will not be eligible for EUA on this flight.
