FEQM Transfer Down?
Is anyone else having problem transferring FEQM? I'm 37 miles short of Gold, and whenever I try to transfer those FEQM it keeps telling me there was a technical problem.

There's a thread in the consolidated forum about the mileage transfer being down, probably related.

I just called the PPlat desk. The system is down, but the OPSC service center will handle it on Monday if the system isn't fixed by then.

Looks like they are doing some major changes. United MileagePlus users are reporting that they are now getting their newly recalculated lifetime miles now. Might be down for a while. My recent activity has been down on the OP side as well.
You have until March 2012 to transfer these miles so you might want to wait until next week.

No. PPlat desk assured me that they are aware of the issue and that FEQMs can be transferred retroactively on Monday (but probably only Monday).

I've been trying to transfer 7k FEQM miles to hit 100k today, but "We're sorry, but continental.com was unable to complete your request due to a technical problem. Please try later or call 1-800-300-1547 for assistance."
Is it for sure that I have until March? How do they know if I transfer them next year what year it is for? Is there a link to this policy on an official site?
I'm on hold but the wait time is >30 minutes, which could mean hours....

On hold, they are telling me they can do in manually biut there is no reason since there is no program for 2012 for 100k miles in 2011???
I was planning to make the United 1K for 2012 based on 100k Continental for 2011, am I confused or are they incorrect?

"How do I use my Flex EQMs?
Your Flex EQMs will be displayed on your OnePass account statement and may be redeemed at any time and added to your earned EQM balance to upgrade your Elite status or increase your current EQM balance. Effective Jan. 1, 2012, Flex EQMs can be redeemed to achieve up to Platinum Elite status or the equivalent level in MileagePlus. You may redeem your Flex EQMs on continental.com by logging into My Account and selecting “Transfer Flexible Elite Miles.” You have until March 31 to apply these miles to a previous year's balance. For example, a customer earned 70,000 EQMs in 2009, enough to earn Gold Elite status for the 2010 Elite year. That customer has until March 31, 2010, to apply 5,000 Flex EQMs to his 2009 balance to attain Platinum Elite status for 2010. "

Hi NyAggie07, the ability to transfer Flex EQMs is currently not functioning. Were working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. But, I also wanted to let you know that, as in years past, youll be able to continue to apply Flex EQMs to your prior years balance (in this case 2011) through March 31, 2012. Of course, as a reminder, the online tool will only be able to handle transfers if your balance is under 75K.

Does it work for that?
