Are Complementary Meals back
I just booked a CLE-FLL roundtrip for December (Y) and I noticed the outbound morning flight showed a breakfast and the return flight showed a snack. No meals for purchase tag. Is this a computer glitch or for real. I noticed some other flights also showing complementary meals and snacks in coach.

They've had meals issues on CO's site for the past few months so i'm not to surprised. Would be nice to get complementary meals again (atleast for transcons or EWR-HNL routes).

Is this thread prediction (Spoiler alert -- Meals at mealtime again) actually becoming a reality??? I would be very very happy.
Addendum: I think if they were to bring it back, this would be a great time to do so. Could win over lots of people otherwise put off by the merger and the combining of operations, which should be in full swing by then (December that is, as noted by the OP).

I agree, if any flight should have meals in Y, flight 15 EWR-HNL should, it is the longest domestic flight and should have the best service. They used to serve a meal on a hour flight.

My flight tomorrow EWR-SFO says 'meals for purchase'
My flight next week SFO-EWR says 'Lunch'
However, last year I did SFO-EWR on CO and got a free cheeseburger (which was quite nice actually).
All a bit bizarre for this very occassionaly CO flyer.

If they did it, I think they should wait until next year. The fewer customers they have when they transition UA ops to SHARES, the better. That is going to be one unmitigated disaster, and the last thing they need is to attract more customers right now.

I just looked at my Nov flights and they have the old verbiage. A "snack" when it's not meal time, and a meal (dinner in my case) at meal times.
I really don't care one way or the other. What they're serving in Y isn't a meal, IMHO, and I'll eat before boarding if I can or carry a sandwich if I can't. I didn't have a problem with purchasing a box of snacks/food when offered for sale.

I'll eat almost anything so if food is restored especially on HNL to IAH/EWR then I'll be happy.

While I'm sure it's a glitch, I would love free meals at meal time again. That was always something that made CO better then other carriers.
