IAH connection and PC question
Hi guys,
I'm flying EWR-IAH-GRU-IAH-SAN-EWR next week (waitlisted on the EWR-GRU direct).
My GRU-IAH leg lands at around 5:20am and IAH-SAN leg departs 7:25am.
Two questions:
- Based on your experience, should this be enough time to connect in IAH? I'll be in BF so should be off the plane immediately, but not sure what immigration/customs lines are like that early and if I need to switch terminals
- Will I have time for a shower at any of the PCs? If so, which one and will it be open that early?
thanks.

Yaa....you're good!
Most of my trips are to South America and usually it takes me up to 20 minutes to clear Imigration, another 15-20 to clear customs and then the line at security at 6AM is not that bad.
Not a problem!
PC open usually at 5AM if I'm not mistaken. The one at T-E has showers - I'm not sure about others.

Ok, I have a follow up question: On the outbound today, I'm flying EWR-IAH, arriving IAH at 8:12pm and need to make the IAH-GRU which departs at 9pm. Can anyone shed any light on how risky a connection this is at IAH?

Pretty risky. EWR is prone to very long tarmac waits from 5 to 7 pm.
