Question 2011 SWU: Valid on code-shares?

If I book an economy ticket through a code-share partner (JK, A3, etc) on their stock, but the flight is actually operated by CO, can I use one of my 2011 SWU's to upgrade to BusinessFirst?

(I ask because I know that I can't use the *A upgrade program to upgrade code-shares with OnePass miles, so I'm worried that the same rule might apply to the SWU's.)

Assuming you are talking about a SWU you've already earned based on flights in 2010 the answer is yes. For upgrades on CO metal one can upgrade with SWUs or cash+OnePass miles, regardless of the booking code on the reservation.

I have already used a couple of mine for me and my wife on CO-operated flights issued under a different code.

If you can see it online, you should be able to upgrade it, no?

I think the question was whether the OP could see their existing reservation (made through the codeshare partner) on the CO site. They should be able to see it if their OP number was included.
