When post new BF menus?
Its November and the website still shows Oct menus. When do they normally post the new month's menus?

I agree..I normally see them put on next month's menu just before monthend. Scheduled to fly to SIN via NRT. The other issue is that many now observe that CO is waiting down to the wire to post BF upgrades. There was a post for that issue. I hope this is not signs of the worse to come...I keeping my faith that CO will strive for better in due course

Just hoping for some new entrees. Flying to SIN soon and want something more tender than last month's tenderloin.

Just flew Europe-EWR today.... looks like a rehash of a few months ago which of course is a rehash of a few menu as the entrees haven't changed much, at least over the last 4 years I've been flying them in BF. I'm going from memory so apologies for the limited descriptions.
Starters were Scallop soup, chicken skewers, and vegetable samosa type thing.
Salad was basic lettuce/rocket mix with cucumber and other vegetables with the standard balsamic or some creamy dressing
Mains:
Tenderloin with Roasted potatoes and vegetables
Shrimp with julienne vegetables (I had this)
Pasta- tomato basil sauce with mushrooms and other ones I can't remember
It was an early flight so I'm not sure what the Chicken option is this month, Brunch was the standard tomato and cheese omelette, salmon, ham, crepe, and croissants
Cheese and Ice Cream, of course.
Snack was beef something with a spread coated with the standard 16oz of cheese served with pickles and smoked "Salmon trout" (whatever that is supposed to be)
So yeah, nothing too different from past months

But generally, is the 5-course meal worth the advertisement?

its an airplane, what do you expect?
CO does one of the best jobs in serving food on board for the primary meal. But as most experienced flyers will say, its still airplane food. LH's StarChefs menus actually show the chef who designed the dish for them. VS food is awful.
The pre-arrival meal (breakfast) is generally bad on both CO and UA. Some airlines (SQ, BA, CX) do things like actually cook eggs on board for the secondary.. and serve what is considered "premium" wine and champagne.
But ultimately, you're paying for transportation, the seat and the space. In fact, unless the flight is >9 hours, I'd rather just drug myself to sleep and skip the main meal, and certainly everything pre-arrival except some rehydration.
