Dumb upgrade question
I cant believe that I dont know the answer to this but I just booked JFK-SFO and then DFW-EWR via UA.com. I have my CO FF# in there but this is the first time ive ever flown CO as a codeshare. Would my upgrade (theoretically) process as it normally would had i booked the ticket on CO.com as a CO plat on an M fare?

Yes, on the DFW-EWR segment. There are no EUAs or UDUs on the p.s. flights.
If it is a UA M fare that most likely map to a CO H fare so no instant upgrades but you'll be in the EUA queue.

Thanks- Its actually UA B which maps to CO M. Had no idea that there were no upgrades on PS flights. What a bummer

If you haven't insta-upgraded yet call in and ask a CSR to process it.
CR1s can be found pretty easily if you know where to look.

1Ks still get 2 CR1s per quarter providing you fly 10k miles in the quarter. With a CR1 you can confirm upgrades (if available) at the time of booking without waiting for UDU. Million milers (regardless of elite status) get 2 CR1s on January 1st of each year.
