Scott:
Good luck and thanks.
I'm sure it is a very stressful time in Houston.

Jeff never said that. It's the culture that's fostered amongst employees. Hopefully this merger will bust that so the employees can reasonably see where they do well as a company, and where they could stand to improve.

Good morning, Scott.
Thank you for *update*.
Interestingly, I received this as United email(3P), but not as old Continental email(Platinum).
Anyway, good to hear from you, and looking forward to see you around.
(Just wondering if you need to change your FT handle name...)
I like a new route map, BTW.

Please visit continental.com/merger to read a letter from our CEO, Jeff Smisek, to learn more about what the merger means for you.

Actually it would be possibly insider trading if it was known some huge upcoming change beforehand. Of course FT posting maybe considered 'public statement' as it is not exactly hidden, but it is not a press release either...

Hi Everyone, in case you haven't noticed, today we have completed the legal closing of our merger with United Airlines. For now, this still means business as usual between our two airlines. In the year ahead, we will be working together to introduce a more seamless travel experience, combining the products and services from each airline that many of you value the most. Theres a lot to come, and we appreciate your patience while we make this happen.

Thanks for the update Scott. I know you are busy and I sure I speak for the CO forum when I say we appreciate your participation and assistance here.
I think everything is moving along rather nicely now. E+, reciprocal upgrades, complimentary wifi and alcohol in the UA lounges. ^
I am sure this is a long shot, but any speculation on E+ surviving or being implemented on CO aircraft?

It's been years since Sirius and XM merged and I still can't get the two systems to work together.
My only option has been to close my Sirius account.
Cheers to UA and CO and hope it is an easy transition
