CO is not UA, and it never will be... my .02 cents...

That "new" UA is a UA wannabe. The real UA will forever be Tulip UA.

E Pluribus Unum

United We Stand...Divided We Fall...

It's all one great big happy (and very dysfunctional) family now!

Huzzah!

P.S.: Absolutely no change whatsoever on the website...oh well...

Huzzah! We surely are dysfunctional! I wonder if this will end up better than the HP/US Merger ;)

Five stages of grief:
  1. Denial
  2. Anger
  3. Bargaining
  4. Depression
  5. Acceptance

Me too. I was just chatting with a 17 year veteran FA today and she wasn't happy. Said there was a lot of animosity with the old timers. Something about how UA used to be nasty and mean when CO was at the bottom. She gave me some examples that I cannot remember now. I asked about Norma, and she said she heard that she is going to hang it up. She does not want to work with UA ppl.

I am sure a lot of that will defuse once they start to actually start working together. She also said that UA FAs wanna be a part of CO because CO pays better, pensions, etc.

She was also sad to see the CO name leave. I mentioned the globe, and she thought it was a pure money decision, since UA has more old planes that need repaint.

UNITED my a$$ lol. From all the comments I have seen. Well at least I can now officially blame United for everything that goes wrong from this point on. :D

I guess I should also blame CO for all of the customer service problems that we've inherited. Goodbye special treatment for elites during irrops.

Denial?? There is no change. I keep calling the elite line and the voice says, "Thanks for calling Continental Airlines Elite desk..." I do not know of this "merger" everyone speaks of.
