Codehare EQM question
I am booking a CO codeshare flight from BKK to IAH. All segments will be booked in B fare class. On my return flight from IAH-NRT I want use 30K OnePass miles to upgrade to Business, will I still be able to assign 150% EQMs to my UA MP account on that segment?

Is the IAH-NRT a Codeshare number? in that case, it may not be possible to upgrade. If its a CO flt number, then you can apply for an upgrade with OP miles.

Yes, you can credit to a different loyalty program while using OnePass miles to upgrade.
And, yes, you can upgrade the CO-metal flight even if it is on a UA code.

Yes, all segments are CO codeshare flight numbers purchased from CO. I know that I can use 30K OP miles to upgrade, my question is can I still assign the EQMs to my UA MP number.

ETA: If you are on a CO code and OAL metal you cannot do a *A upgrade either. Sorry for the bad info.

Yes, you can. Also keep in mind that the upgrade will only cover the CO metal (NRT-IAH-NRT). It will not cover the BKK-NRT-BKK segments, even if those are on a CO code. You'd need to do a *A upgrade award - per segment - for those two flights on OAL metal.
