WWTBD? Purchase a ticket for $418 or use 25K miles?
What's the routing (EQM / RDM)?

That's right at my borderline for using miles. Do any other carriers have the ticket cheaper?

It appears that the plastic lid which was attached to my printer to keep printed paper from falling out and hitting the floor has broken off at its hinges.

Time to break out the duct tape.

Morning, Box. Car dropped at service place. Found an old school garage on her parents' referral...family operation, the house is next door. They're a little scary, since I'm used to dealer maintenance. Here's hoping they are both cheap and competent.

If the hinges are plastic and you don't need to use the device for while, might a nice epoxy help?

I'm leaving the country Friday for 10 days. I'll look in 2.0 and see what I can do time-wise to help out.

I'm at 602K right now lifetime. I'll end the year around 640K I think unless something crazy comes along. That's 15 B runs to NRT to finish it out I think.

A good 2-ton epoxy is helpful for many things, but an epoxy will not allow me to close the unit again. Duct tape should allow for that.

Though really, I should probably investigate a replacement printer. My grandmother usually hands out some cash for birthdays so maybe part of it will go to that. And a print server so I don't have to run cups through my Linux box.

No. It looks like CO is the cheapest, but at $418, I think that is a little high.

Did you check out of LGA or *gasp* JFK or even HPN (which really isn't that far from you)? The WN effect should help out of LGA.

G'day box.

Bah, forget print servers. Get a wifi enabled printer and screw cables. :-:

Roughly 35% cheaper than the dealer. I'll take that. ^

This is pretty much the sole reason I got a print server several years ago. I hate CUPS.
