Catching up with Paula and Michael has been a highlight of SeaDoos, and we enjoyed visiting with them and her sister at one of our summer parties here as well. She was a warm, witty, and thoroughly lovely woman. She will be missed.
Condolences to Michael, Gail, Karen, and the rest of her family.

We first met Paula, Michael, and Karen at the first Seattle party back in September of 1999. That was only the second FlyerTalk party we had ever attended.
At that time Paula and Michael lived in Olympia, Washington, where our daughter was going to college. Being the kind and inclusive people that they are, they soon became our daughter's back-up-parents-away-from-home. When we told our daughter of Paula's passing, she said, "That's not possible. Paula and Michael are a perfect, matched set. They need to be together." Those of you who have met them both will know how true that is.
In addition to being a loving wife, Paula was also a devoted mother. Our deepest sympathies go our to Michael and Karen who must miss her terribly.
We too will truly miss her warmth, joy and friendship, and will always drink a Guinness in her memory every time we go to Kells.
