I would have loved to have come to the Welcome CO to the *A DO if it wasn't for the fact that I'll be on another continent on that date. If vsevolod4 will be picking the restaurant, then I know for sure that you will eat drink and be merry... :D

Was ready to jump on this with good fares from OMA (although I would have taken the conx through IAH because only EWR service is RJ:td:) until I looked at my calendar. My son would be extremely disappointed should we miss Webelos Resident Camp for which we are already registered. Sounds like a blast, have a great time!^

Roughly 2.5 easy blocks from Newark Penn Station.

I've made it early so if people want to sample some of Newark's great restaurants downtown or in the Ironbound they could use this meeting as a kick off point.

Regretfully I can't make it anymore - I'll be many thousands of miles away on an unexpected trip :(

I'm attempting to work out the logistics, but what is the easiest way to get from EWR to Scully's Publick House, Newark?

Cab, bus, other?

I'm thinking of taking the bus, from Bethlehem to EWR rather then drive.

Put me down as a likely maybe. I should be able to PATH over for some drinks on Saturday.

Getting from EWR to Newark Penn (and then the bar) is pretty easy. There's a city bus that you can take or there is the AirTrain/NJ Transit option. The bus is cheaper, but even the "expensive" option is only something like $9.

Stay tuned for revision ... Called Scully's today to make final confirmation and they're now closed on weekends (?!?).

Never fear! I will find something else.
