AKL dinner 20 May 2008
franny and monitor are in Auckland on their way to Oz Fest. Join us for dinner 20th May 2008.

Hi KiwiFlyer. I'd love to, but have a ferry to catch back home (last one is 5:30)........I can meet for an early drink but if that is not possible let me see what I can do about driving in for that day. Feel free to PM me with any details.

OP updated with venue and time. Sorry AKLDUBFlyer, I can't make drinks early enough for you to catch your ferry, although perhaps franny & monitor can?

The menu at Kermadec sure looks good to us. Also, that wine list has quite a few NZ labels that we never see in the States. And I guess we will try some number of them. 
We don't know our schedule yet or where we are going to be between 4 and 5. I will send AKLDUBFlyer my cell# and see if we are not too far away at that time.

Kermadec is a sensational restaurant, albeit not that easy to find. As is well known on FT, Kiwi Flyer is the ultimate authority on all things Auckland and we were quite fortunate that he was around when we were visiting. The food, wine, and conversation were just as good as could be.
