Hi KiwiFlyer. I'd love to, but have a ferry to catch back home (last one is 5:30)........I can meet for an early drink but if that is not possible let me see what I can do about driving in for that day. Feel free to PM me with any details.

Just thought I would bump this up so that if you are around AKL on Tuesday evening, keep an eye on this space and Kiwi Flyer will be posting the time and place.

OP updated with venue and time. Sorry AKLDUBFlyer, I can't make drinks early enough for you to catch your ferry, although perhaps franny & monitor can?

The menu at Kermadec sure looks good to us. Also, that wine list has quite a few NZ labels that we never see in the States. And I guess we will try some number of them. :D

We don't know our schedule yet or where we are going to be between 4 and 5. I will send AKLDUBFlyer my cell# and see if we are not too far away at that time.

Kermadec is a sensational restaurant, albeit not that easy to find. As is well known on FT, Kiwi Flyer is the ultimate authority on all things Auckland and we were quite fortunate that he was around when we were visiting. The food, wine, and conversation were just as good as could be.
