My ship docks in Whittier late the night before. Have a car reserved to visit ANC and drive to the airport on 6/9 6/8, interested in a pleasant relaxed place for dinner in town before my flight. I was thinking something like a 7pm time frame to eat.

That may work quite well. Just can't confirm until closer in.

Anyone around central Anchorage on 6/8? I'll have a 9-hour turn in the afternoon and evening. I'm planning to check out the Anchorage Market, rent a bike and ride the coastal trail. I'm then thinking a late dinner downtown somewhere, probably Glacier Brewhouse (thanks, FTers!). If anyone would care to join me for any of this, give me a shout.

Looks like I'll be on the UA red-eye 24 hours before you!

Hope Saturday night, 6/8 might work out for you too. Sorry for my temporal dyslexia.

Looks like 4 FTers on that flight so far.... Amazing what a $99 fare will do.
I'm definitely up for pre-flight dinner/beers at Glacier Brewhouse or any other recommended spot. My Internet connectivity may be a little limited as I cruise up the coast next week, so will check back in periodically. Hope to see a few of you then.

There has been some talk of a mini-DO at Casa de Bob W on 6/8. While the BBQ will (probably) not be up to Austin Mega DO standards, the venue is one of the best in ANC. And, I have never seen fresh, grilled salmon in TX. If this works for the group, Beckoa gets off work at 7:30 and could meet us shortly thereafter.
