Per my newly-edited item in the first post, would anyone who is joining us tomorrow be able to arrive a bit early (maybe 7:10 or so) and put us down for a table of 10? The Bear Tooth does not take reservations, and it's bound to be somewhat busy on a Friday night.
I would, except I believe I am now providing rides for three people who all arrive at 7:30pm (assuming their planes are all on time) and likely won't make it until closer to 8.

Volunteer
I'll volunteer for the Bear Tooth res duty. If it's as nice as is predicted, I might (just might) have to have a beer while I wait. I'll be wearing a blue Dreamliner cap.
I plan to head to girdwood a little after 6 on Sunday to get on that list before the group arrives, but I would like a confirmation so I ask for the right sized table. akdude, I hope to see you there.
BTW you do mean Saturday night, right?

BobW I'll try to make it since you'll be in my hometown, but I've got a catering early that day.

Hotel Shuttle
The Comfort Inn came thru and is giving me a ride to dinner!!
I'm now off to the F Street Station for some of the finest Eggs Benedict I have ever experienced. The Sat Market and a little bar hopping should warm me up for our evening Do!
See you all tonight.
Bob

ANC Sat. Jun 7
Thanks for posting this ANC meet up thread!
If this Do is for Saturday June 7, I'd like to be added to this one, there will also be two other FT'ers on the same run as I, I can only assume they too will be up for a drink.
I Arrive: ANC 21:30 Depart: ANC 23:40 so I think I could squeak in a drink or two^

Here's a couple of notes I made from this weekend's ANC Run:
Anchorage is a breathtakingly lovely place; the drive to Seward even more so. I ran out of superlatives in describing the scenery very eary in the drive.
Taking a glacier boat cruise out of Seward is a not-miss for those interested in such things.
ANC has some really nice and competent staff at UA.
Due to staffing shortaqes, the TSA line does not open for the UA terminal (A) until about 9:40 p.m. This causes quite a queue to build in the terminal. There is no elite line.
If it's not too cloudy, the right side of the aircraft has some awesome views on the way into ANC.
BobW and jackal are two of the best hosts one could ask for. ^

Jackal
I am in for the below n 6/9.
We have a lot of people coming around the same time all wanting to meet up in early June, but we need to finalize who's going to be meeting, the date, and the venue. It looks like we have a fairly large group gathering at the airport on 6/7 and another group who will be arriving on various days but all leaving on 6/9. Maybe we should have another dinner--or at least airport bar--gathering on 6/9--I'm looking at you, bk3day, livitup, cordelli, and jan_az...
