June 15 is best for me. Xmas is probably BKK for a wedding. Spring 09 is a bit too far. What about before you're going on the road....say beginning of Sept?

For us, March 2009 would be best. Late March so as to not interfere with our early March ski trip to Switzerland.

I could do the BEACH DO or sometime in early September before you go on the road. I graduate from USC on December 15th (and leave SC) so the Christmas DO and Spring DO are a no-go for me.

Right now I would not be able to make 15Jun as I do not have Su. off. However if I'm lucky I may be able to get Sa & Su off. Will know after noon on Thurs when we bid our sched. eff 2Jun.
Pick a day & if I'm off will be there even if I just have to fly down & back same day.

Of the dates suggested, I have to vote for a Spring Do only because the other dates are already taken.

How about April 17, 2009? Azaleas in bloom and lower humidity.

I love Charleston but, like Punki, Bay Area-ites are weather wimps too, and so summer for me is definitely out (it's not the heat, per se, but that gosh-awful humidity y'all have down there).

I vote for springtime. As PDX_Roy says, the flowers are in bloom and it is really lovely at that time of year (Middleton Place, Magnolia Plantation). My second choice would be around Christmastime.

So, we are very possibly interested, depending on the date.

I know someone who does ghost tours in CHS. I don't know how long he plans to stay at that job, but figured I'd throw the idea out there.
