A bump for those in CommunityBuzz who may not have seen this and a reminder to those who are subscribed to the thread that the festivities begin two weeks from today!

If you haven't joined yet, there's still room!

(If you still haven't finalized DO-transportation--specifically train ticket--arrangements, please let me know. If I don't hear from you, I'll assume you've taken care of your own tickets. Also, at this point, we have seven people planned to take part in the rental car out to Chena--the cost breakdown is now displayed in post #4. If two or more people join, we will need to split the group into two separate cars.)

I tried, but Simon bit me. I filed a lawsuit against you. I'll drop the suit for a few dozen bottles of wine...

Bad news guys and gals. I just got my construction schedule for March and I have to work both Friday and Saturday during the DO. That means I'm a no go. I really wanted to see Alaska with you guys. Hope to see you all some other time.

For those out there who haven't purchased their flights to FAI from ANC or ANC from FAI... there is an ecert code on AS out there that takes 10% off the rates... (Its a 2009 Fur Rondy/Iditarod code)

Good for travel Feb 24 to March 25... intra-state travel, to/from ANC or OME...

I know Pinot can give you strange visions, especially the corked stuff. Please tell me you are really on flight 190

I could save 13 bucks by changing, but then I would go to the back of the queue for the UG. And, I know that Monitor+1 have actually PAID, Yes, I said Paid for F on this flight I've never met anyone who actually paid for F ANC-FAI or FAI-ANC. It's just Not done!!!! 'Cuz then I might not get my UG

Whiner (winer)

I called the ARR. We can bring the wine on the train, but we cannot open it. So, We will need to figure out how much to bring as a carry on (or more than one) for evening festivities.

BTW this is post #1800 for me. Just a newbie still......

Bingo. None of the corked stuff was consumed but there was a certain amount of time required to navigate the rather inflexible AS website in order to make a new res and cancel the old one. AS 190 it is.

I guess got a bit careless when it came to posting around here at 1AM after substantial amounts of the grape and a session of trying to spot the stitches behind Pelosi's ears. This place does not demand exactitude.

Welcome to the 1,800 club!

Bob, if you don't get your upgrade, then that means for sure I won't, so you can sit by me. (I'm in 14F--perfect place to view Denali...)

If SeeYa didn't book F, she can join us in row 14, too!

Only a few days Left. I see four at dinner on Friday the 13th. Anyone else coming?

Jackal, how are you getting to ARR on Saturday?
