Waffle House is perhaps one of the worst restaurants in my city. That's based in cleanliness, customer service and ... safety

Safety? As in Kidrock patronizes your local Waffle House?

So should I make a trip down to SAV? Who's paying? I wonder what the pricing looks like from OAK-SAV?

Hopping out to SFO Bay area that weekend and back on 21st.

If you're heading north from GSP to Michigan, likely you'd be on I85/I26/I40/I75. Asheville (AVL) is at the intersection of I26 and I40. I think there's a Waffle House at the first exit on I40 West after that intersection. If it's on the 21st, please let me know

I went to the one on 24th St, south of Van Buren about 10 years ago, and wasn't impressed. I guess I don't get WH.

Jakarta has a WH? I saw the Pollo Campero the last time I was there.

LOL the only Pollo Campero in Florida is in my city though I haven't been there.

I've seen a few on my trip to Nicaragua last month. That's when I learned the origin of the company.

I was told to stay away from their fried chicken though

closest that I know of (which doesn't mean it is the closest) is on I-81 in Stephens City, VA about five miles south of winchester VA (northern Va)

ML, need to set your expectations properly. The bad news is you're driving another 75 miles past BHM to get to Casa BamaVol. The better news is you're not spending the night in BHM. We have cows in the backyard as opposed to drive-by shootings.

I'm thinking of boycotting Waffle House 'cause they don't serve beer. Waffles 'n beer - my favorite cruiseship breakfast!

Cows? Can I pet one? fyi I am allergic to beef so I hope not to see Betsy on the table.

As compared to my favourite camping breakfast of beer and cornflakes. Yummy!

You had better warm me of any other dietary restrictions. We're omnivores, although Miss BamaVol forbids me to serve lamb and veal when she's present. Her husband makes Wade Boggs look adventurous at the dinner table (figure that one out).

Just serve Bambi! I'm sure venison would be fine. Right, ML?
