Waffle House Anyone? [several cities]
In another week my next cross-country road trip will be occuring. One of the highlights is visits to Waffle House's. Anyone interested in meeting in one along the way?
The plan is to leave LA on the 5th, arrive into COS on the 6th.
Leave COS on the 11th or 12th, spend the night of the 13th in BHM (thanks BamaVol).
Arrive in GSP on the 18th after driving around Georgia etc. for a few days.
Along the way we will pass hundreds of Waffle House's - anyone want to meet for a meal?

I'm boycotting Waffle Houses because they don't take credit cards and i refuse to eat a waffle without the hopes of earning my miles.
ML - there's a Waffle House just down from the House of Miles so if you are buying, then i wouldn't be out the miles anyway. Safe travels during your trip.

SAV would be the week of the 14th. Haven't figured out exactly what date we will be there, but probably the 15th or 16th. Next week we will firm up our driving plans and figure out a time.

I was a waffle house virgin until January of 2008. I finally went to one in Slidell, LA.
Delish.
I can't wait for my next trip to MS/LA just to get my waffle house fix.
Yum.
Wish I could join you.

I would be tempted to go to the Freddies if someone would have a post party do at the Waffle house near the airport. IIRC, it was close to the HGI where I stayed for the RnR half marathon in 2007.
