I'm in for May 3. I'll land at LAX around 1330 and leave 2330. I am talking to a friend in LAX in hope of hanging with him until around 1800 or 1830 before heading to the restaurant.

I wish I could, but I really don't have any easy (and not ridiculously expensive) way of getting back to LAX at that time. At this point I can either leave the reservation as is (and just not show up, it's a wee bit too tight for my comfort), choose a place closer to LAX, or make it lunch instead. Thoughts?

How are we looking here? Anyone with a change in plan? I'm coming in on an MR from JAX and returning after dinner and drinks..lots of drinks to help me sleep in E+ :D

The plans definitely aren't changing for Saturday, just potentially for Sunday, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.:)

Hate to do this guys, but here's the deal on my end. Culver City is just a bit too far and I can't afford to miss this flight (have a flight out on a separate ticket the day after this flight, and if I miss that I'm screwed). So here's what I've narrowed it down to for Sunday:

a) Make lunch reservation at same restaurant instead, and cancel dinner.
b) Instead have lunch at "Islands" near LAX (the Westchester location), and keep the dinner reservation (unless no one is interested in that anymore, in which case I'll cancel)
c) Cancel the current dinner reservation and do an early dinner at Islands at around 5PM or so.

Thoughts? Anyone feel strongly about this? I'll probably switch to option B or C if no one objects, but please let me know!

I was wondering why you were having dinner at 5:30 in CC when you had to fly out of (or even be at!) LAX at 8:00- it seemed like a close-call to me, too.

I'm flying in from Germany on 03MAY, so I might be interested in coming on 04MAY.

OK, I just checked- how does a FTer not have dinner at an iDine restaurant? :)
