I can't predict my schedule that far in advance, but putting it in my calendar. I'm sure we can all suggest cool things to do in the area: ie: I've been wanting to check out the bar at the Custom hotel since it opened.

Excellent, look forward to seeing some old friends (based on how long I've known them and not age), as well as new faces.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a restaurant somewhere in the general LAX vicinity that is good but not too pricey, probably for Saturday night?

Dining Suggestions

All depends: (a) what kind of food are we looking for? (b) how far are we willing to travel?

Mexican On The Border in Howard Hughes Center

I agree, The Howard Hughes center has plenty of options. It is right off the
I-405. Other than that there is not much on Century Blvd. Maybe some of the hotels have good restaurants. I know the Marriott has a sports bar and the hilton has an Ittilan place.

Nice choice if we're gonna stay close, plus ample parking. Lucky do you feel like staying close to LAX this time or do you want to venture up into Santa Monica or something farther?

Sorry I can't make it lucky, as I'll be back in Michigan for my college alumni reunion.

If people are into Thai food, Siam is the FT place in Westchester. And of course lots of places in Manhattan Beach. Downtown MB is fun in the springtime with lots of restaurants & bars, and of course that's Cinco de Mayo weekend.

Have fun all!

Cheers.

FYI I just booked the Hilton LAX, but I can switch hotels if need be. I appreciate all the suggestions, and as soon as I get a better estimate of how many people we'll be I'll start looking into reservations.
