I haven't seen it yet...it's still taping on my TV.
But it's one of the folks who attended the Soup DO (and who may or may not want to equate a FT handle to a real name):

Just saw it--good segment. Thanks for CBS for giving a fair chance to explain the method to our madness, and to Jenny for representing us well.

I woke up at 0600 California time for this.
This 4 minute plus story went by so fast. I guess CBS used the importrant comments.
I must say that George, SanDiego1K's husband, looked good. As a matter of fact, we all looked good. Shame on CBS for putting me and Catman on the cutting room floor.
I guess that I didn't have to tell my wife as much as I did prior to the broadcast.

Here's a synopsis on the 5 minute segment.
- Came on at 23 minutes into the broadcast
- Jenny had the most air time. She is a UA flyer and appeared to be a segment runner. She had an FT tag on her backpack. She had the most air time, and presented herself very well. (She was not a SoupDo-er; I've no idea what her FT handle is.)
- Randy Petersen was filmed at House of Miles. As part of his interview, he showed the Mileage Run forum. You could see a lot of handles from the folks who had started threads.
- Michael Faeter (sp?), was an AA flyer who was going for EXP. I've no idea if he is an FTer.
- There were stock clips of WN and Jetblue in the air - which aren't typically mileage runner airlines.
There was footage of the 2 tables of Soup Do'ers. Shown were: - cordelli
- Mr. SanDiego1K
- stockmanjr
- bk3day
- dhammer53
- ljp99
- Catman
- sc flier + wife
- tkey - talked about airport codes

I watch Sunday Morning every Sunday (actually have it on a dvr), and just happened to catch this segment. The show airs from 8-9:30am PHX time.
Here is a transcript of the show:

And where was the, "Soup Do"???
On a more relevant topic, why would someone do ORD-DSM-DEN several times when you could just do a trip to Europe??? I'd rather do (and did) a long trip or 2 than bunches of small stuff.

Jenny appeared to qualify with segments. She talked about flying as many segments as possible, and adding segments to trips. She was focused on short hops, multiple fights.

I love the comment on the CBS website:
"This is simply shameful. To have such a vacant life as to waste it sitting on airplanes just to sit on more airplanes, albeit the concept of having a better seat. These people should consider something akin to addiction counseling. Not only are they wasting their own lives, but the time and effort of dozens of people who are processing their tickets and securing airline flights by making the line a few minutes longer. It is inconsiderate of the people who truly have a function and a goal for their travel and need to get somewhere."
