Well, it's a tradeoff. If I do brunch, the absolute earliest I can get home is 4:15. Currently, I'm supposed to arrive at 9:15p, which really sucks on a Sunday night since I'm flying into SFO (i.e. I won't get home until about 10:15). If I can hop onto the 8:30a DCA-MSP, I can get into SFO at something like 1:45p, which is so much nicer. If I take the noon MSP flight (i.e. do brunch), I can still get into SFO at 4:15p, which is still better than 9:15, but not as nice as 1:45. Is that the one you're looking at? (NW549 DCA-MSP?)

Sadly I just found out I have to go to NY this weeekend and won't be able to make it. Have fun!

I've not bought the tickets in advance, I think this group needs some flexibility. But they told me that there are still plenty of tickets available, hopefully this is correct. Consequently we'll probably wait until 3 pm to buy the tickets anyway (but I'll check earlier sat. to make sure availability still looks good.)

One tip for all: if the line at the Mall entrance to the museum is really long, walk around the building to the Independence Ave. entrance. There are usually far fewer people there! If you're coming from the train at L'Enfant, you'll cross Indep Av anyway.

I may be a +2 for the tour & IMAX (will buy tix there) - may have to bail on drinks, but probably not...Can't do brunch the next day - if the weather isn't too bad, heading out to Whitetail for some skiing! :)

My CO flight to DCA via EWR is delayed enough to cause me to misconnect in EWR. Trying to get rebooked on NW. Wish me luck.

Good news: I got rebooked so I will arrive 15m earlier than I would have on CO. Even better, I got rebooked into Y, so instead of 50% EQM I will earn 150% EQM. Bad news: I got rebooked onto DL.

Does anyone know if the CRC in ATL concourse E has showers, or if it's only the Business Elite lounge in E that has showers?

It does have showers, although if you're coming in on a red-eye, go there straight away because there can be a line and you want to be #1 or #2 on the list. :)

Edit: As for myself, it looks like my flight as about a 50/50 chance at making the connection in EWR tomorrow morning (MSP-EWR-DCA). If I miss it, I can't get to DC until 1:18pm (assuming they get me to IAD instead), so that likely means I can't get to NASM until after two. So, let's hope the connection is preserved and I can make it in plenty of time.

I will head there straight away.

P.S. the CO agent forgot to put my FF# in the DL reservation he created, so I got SSSS'd. And the DL agent says DL policy strictly forbids removing SSSS, even though had my FF# been in the reservation before he checked me in I wouldn't have been SSSS'd. Luckily I am a Clear member, so maybe I can avoid SSSS treatment - we'll see.

For those who are wondering what happens when a Clear member gets SSSS'd - they still get the full SSSS workup :(

And I just looked at my BP, and not only am I SSSS, I'm in Zone 9. Gotta love DL :rolleyes:
