Where would you rather go instead? I'm coming from Northwestern Memorial. It's roughly equidistant!

My apologies for not being more clear, Plainsman. I (mistakenly) believed that people would assume I was referring to Mr. Beef on Orleans, much the same way most people think I'm going to France and not Illinois when I say that I'm headed to Paris for vacation.

And yes, I'm quite aware of Chicago's leadership when it comes to encased meats.

Looks like I probably won't be able to make dinner, but lunch is possible. Thanks.

Last minute bump. I am at the office. Some of you have (or have had) my cellphone# - if you think you're going to be there earlier, let me know with about 30 minutes lead time and I'll wander over.

The veal breast and the short rib look like the early favorites. Actually, I could probably just have about four of their side dishes and ignore the other courses!

Tart Willie, I mean, Sweet Willie has decided he'd rather dine with others tonight instead.

Fun times last night. Good to see ElmhurstNick and iluv2fly again and hopefully Plainsman survived his first FT social experience.

As far as the restaurant was concerned, I was happy with the selection. The duck was prepared very well and the staff gets a big ^ too. I guess that means Sweet Willie gets an honorable mention for recommending the place, even though he couldn't make it.

Tomorrow night is Sepia, so I'll be sure to post a comparison in the Chicago forum.
