I'll be in Mebourne with my 20 year old daughter from 10 Jan until the 14th. We're staying at the Quest on William Serviced Apartments, 172 William Street.
We're So. Californians and will be at the end of a trip starting in BNE on 26 December & on to Sydney on the 30th. This will be my daughter's 12th trip to Australia with me and she is looking forward to this Winter break in the middle of her last year at University. I will be arriving in MEL on 13 January at 1130, but will be spending most of the afternoon with accredditation, uniform collections, and so on. Normally free from around 1700 this day if those leaving early want to hook up for a feed. Probably a little bit too early to plan anything definitive at this stage though, it is still more than a month away. Dave |

I will be in Melbourne on Jan 14th and probably also the evening of the 13th. Always happy to meet up for food or drinks.
Planning on getting tickets to see some tennis on the 14th (flying out late that same night 23:59). Any suggestions for what tickets I should buy, considering I have never watched any tennis except for on TV, and TBH for one day it doesn't matter too much if the tickets are AUD29 or AUD49? I fly into Melbourne on December 29th and will probably spend some time in the area before making my way up to Brisbane where I start a little quick tour of Australia, where I'm also game for meeting up along the way: Jan 6 - Sydney Jan 7 - Ayers Rock Jan 8/9/10 - Perth Jan 10/11 - Adelaide Jan 12/13 - Hobart I have posted my flights in the January QP Get-togethers thread in the QF forum. |
