I'll be living in Buenos Aires for the month of June, 07. (major malbec fix coming on) Would love to join local or "passing-thru" FTers for drinks, meal, city exploring, etc. Just PM me.

Lucky you!^ ^ If its not to prying, can you share what your living arrangements are? I've got to assume a full month at the Sheraton Libertador isn't in the cards. May we also assume you're there for some formal boning up on Español?

Ditto Airoli on his use of Rudi's famous quote.

I'll have to find some malbec up here in New Jersey and toast your great adventure and education.

You must share your adventures sometime Skye1. It's more inspiration for me to et down there sometime.

Have a MEOWY Month (what's MEOW in Spanish?)

Sounds like a great month. I know I'd love to live there. I feel like I do when I visit each time already.

Will see most of you in September.

Just finished up dinner at El Establo....gotta love a place where the steaks alone take up a couple of pages of the menu, single'lined. And, where the steaks themselves fill up an entire dinner plate. my stomach is so very happy right now....and about to get its long overdue dose of malbec. i think i may just pop back over there again tomorrow night, before heading up to the falls.

A lot of the tango schools were doing 'street demos' on Florida street when i was walking over to dinner...taking advantage the winter months when more people are inside.

florida street has really become more of a shopping gauntlet than a shopping stroll, to be sure...people getting in your face every few seconds, for real, sticking flyers in your hands, and kids coming up every few seconds begging for everything. great people watching, to be sure.

I've e'mailed alex, already...Terrior is definitely on my 'must do no matter what' list. Nothing wrong with Terrior more than once in three months'...can one ever get enough Malbec in a season??? of course not. looking forward to it!!

Darn, I forgot to tell you that the fried provolone (not to mention the pizza - where the thick cheese drips off the plate) there is great too! Anyway, you have North America's mouth watering tonight!

I'll just have to have both, then...the great pizza AND the great steak. Life is just too short to be stressing out over such tough choices.
