Whoa, mixing Saturdays and Sundays gets confusing!!

Sat Night. A smaller group 6-8 works better at a Hawker centre since getting adjacent tables can be a real trick unless arriving very early - hence the Sat night thoughts.

Sun night. we are a larger group (are we about 10-12), and so probably a restaurant works better.

Gacha, that works very well! I am definitely up for that, and I am sure xj47 is as well! Your plan sounds excellent. Who else would be up for that?:)

In terms of the SKL meet on Mon morning, as a lounge meet newbie, is it necessary to distinguish who is (nominally) hosting who so that any 'hosting shortfall' is indentifed ... or is this usually done by PM quietly in the background?

My thought is to expand a wee bit on the listing at post #2 of those who are SKL bound as follows (extra stuff in bold, and just an example!):

Folks, a quick question in case anyone would be able to help. I made a reservation with Cafe Iguana and they want to call the day of to confirm the reservation. I don't have a Singapore phone, so is there any local that would be willing to confirm? They just want a phone number that they can call to see we are "real" the day of.
