LAX Welcomes A380 FT DO
The ball started rolling in this thread - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=665583.
We don't yet have times/other details, but might as well start a list of those attending. Seems the possibilities are Proud Bird, Encounters, T4, ....

Wouldn't it be easier to do IN-N-OUT? Okay, granted it would be for me.

For those who don't want to have to click on and read an entire separate thread (like me) to find out what's going on, the A380 is supposed to arrive at LAX on 3/19 approx 9am & do a bunch of taxiing, docking, etc. The consensus on the other thread is that either Encounter or (fully refundable ticket to get you into) T4 would give you the best vantage for seeing it.
Given the side it's going to be on, sounds like In-N-Out (if you're doing offsite) would be better than Proud Bird. Also, is Proud Bird even open at 9am?
I'll keep an eye on the thread to see where everyone decides to go.
Cheers.

It has to say will be arrival in LAX around 9am but, I can't go to LAX for this time. I will try to see new A380 in the future. Sorry. I have to work at PHX for added 4 days weekly for every Tuesday & Wednesday. I don't know if I may go to LAX see new A380.

If the A-380 is going to be doing a lot of airport movements, taxing etc.. Would not the best viewing be on the west side of the airport... By the A taxiways where runway 25R/L are? If so, their is Cutter park in El Segundo, right next to the airport on top of a hill that gives spectacular views of departing and taxing aircraft.
The location of Cutter park is Cutter's Park, East Imperial Ave/Sheldon St in El Segundo, I even did a mapquest link.
I think it will be very busy over there on that day, every airline netter will be there trying to get pictures.
That is why I would be keen to park in my usual lot by in-n-out and find someone brave enough to drive over there. By car pooling us.
I think this option is best as you'll not need to worry about traffic at the airport, nor holding up funds on a credit card.
The only other thing that I could think of would be if someone had a radio scanner. This would allow us to hear communications between the pilots and the tower. I see many air netters with them when I visit this spot to watch airport movements.
On a side note, I have never been in T4, is the TSA any good there, meaning if I have my boarding pass for a UA flight that day, will be doing a MR, do you think I can get through security? I know their is a walkway that you can take to go from T6 to T5 is it the same with T4? Funny I should be asking this question, but I am never on that side of the airport. Even when driving through the airport I bypass that side for T6/7.

T4 TSA will only let you in with an AA/QF BP

As mentioned in the other thread, I'm divided between this and the Airliners.net meet in Imperial Hill. Meh, have a couple weeks to decide.

I don't know ETA will coming in LAX?
