So, I propose to meet at Gullivers Tavern, 1900 hrs on Mon 22 Jan. Who's in?

TK - yes.
Good choice; I'll be there, thanks for organizing.

I'll be coming in from NRT on the 22nd, and won't be arriving until 11pm. So I probably won't reach the Conrad until midnight.

I've got about a 33% chance of being there at that time and if so would love to attend. I likely won't know for sure until a few days before, but will let you all know if I can make it.

I'll be staying at the Century Park. I've noticed a lot of folks will be located at the Conrad. (I missed out on that deal.) Is the Conrad located within walking distance from the Century Park?

How about from Gullivers?

Looking forward to getting together with some fellow FTers.

Nope, not unless you're REALLY keen on walking - it's about 4km To Gullivers (and about the same to Conrad) as I measure it on my desktop map of Bangkok.

Better to walk (or take a motocrcle taxi - orange jacket guys) 700m to Victory monument BTS ('skytrain' station) and get off at Nana. Or take a taxi, it'll cost about $1.25 (50 baht or so), but can be time consuming in rush hour traffic (jam). Reverse the process for the return - although we might not still be at Gullivers....

Expectantly, TK

I'll PM you some map links, but I gotta run to a meeting.......

AK333 - good stuff.

For those who are interested, the link is a map on which I've marked a few spots - the Conrad and Century Palace Hotels, Nana BTS and Gullivers. There is a scale in the top right corner of the image for those with rulers.....
