Georgetown Five Guys has a real bar with Red Hook and Hefenweizen on draft. It is where the old Au Pied du Cuchon restaurant was. It's in my neighborhood so could meet up there anyday. I could go and talk to them before to reserve us some space.

To clarify, we are a Five Guys franchisee, and Georgetown is one of our stores. We hosted a happy hour there last year. For those that attended last year, I'm happy to offer up our location as host again.

And if you offer it up during the first week in May, we have a day's work in Northern VA which we can fit in on the day of the offer. Been missing the DC Area Happy Hours for a while now and would like to connect fairly soon.

That's right after the Freddies ... it'd likely be better to wait a few weeks or even till June (get past Memorial Day) .. my two cents

Pizzaman - congrats on the milestone!! and thank you for offering your place again.

Some ideas for restaurants ...

Neisha Thai - outside Tysons 1 near L&T (across Circuit City)
Slades Amer Grill - Tysons 1 - after Nordstroms
Cheesecake Factory - Tysons Galleria
Lebanese Taverna - Tysons Galleria
Cafe Deluxe (across from Tysons 1, connected/below Crate & Barrel)
Anyone have a preference for restaurant/cuisine?

And your two cents make a lot of sense. Just so happens that we have an appointment in No VA on the 7th of June, a Thursday, I think.

Anytime time in May, except the first week, and after 13-Jun since I will be in SE Asia for about 2 weeks beginning 29-May. Another congrats for making the lifetime AA Gold.

I'm in for the 19th. Tired of Asian food for the time being. Burger and a beer is fine for me.

Thanks for all the congrats! Now is probably a good time to mention I'll be out of town from the 15th of May until the 23rd of May on two separate trips.

No MR though.

Wow! One weekend I am away and so much activity here!!

Pizzaman - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Pizzaman - THANK YOU!!!

Pizzaman - DEFINITELY will take you up on the offer! Last time was soo much fun!

GoingAway - You forgot Gordon Biersch!

HeadinClouds - Does your vote still remain the same despite the addition I just made above?

Will wait till this evening and then finalize things. Anyone want to help me maintain a list of attendees and perhaps make reservations once we pick the place

I can be persuaded to change my vote with the proper compensation.
