What are you in the mood for Mileage Addict? Where are your meetings (that can help us find a place.)

Keep us posted and depending on my cat sitting load I may be able to join you (think last time we met was the Freddies in NYC two years ago!)

Dinner at 5:30pm?

I'm not allowed to leave work until 6:30pm at the earliest, and my office is in CT. Fly out of HPN instead and I can make it work!

Yeah, 5:30 is a tad early for dinner. That's why I'm thinking happy hour and appetizers may be better.

Catman, what about that soup restaurant you like?

Mileage Addict...

La Bonne Soupe serves pretty fast and is good and a good value. THey are on the East Side of Manhattan: 48 West 55th Street New York, NY 10019 Tel: (212) 586-7650 Fax: (212) 765-6409

Here's their website: http://www.labonnesoupe.com/menus.php

Let me know if this works for you and I can make a reservation. (they don't have beer I don't think but have a decent house wine or two.)

There's also Heartland Brewery which has several locations around Manhattan. They have some decent house brews (and I know you sort of like teh beer MA: http://www.heartlandbrewery.com/

Keep me posted.

OMNI for Spiff: when do you fly into EWR and do you have a long layover? There' sgood Spanish/Portugese food just a train ride away in Newark.

Wollensky's Grill - 49th & 3rd.

La Bonne Soupe is no good for cocktails/appetizers.

Heartland Brewery is for tourists.

See numerous previous DO threads for info.

I arrive into EWR Wednesday early evening, barring any bumpy flights.

I might have time for dinner before hopping the LIRR. @:-)

Wollensky's Grill does sound good and ending up the day around East 49th puts me in a good spot for getting back to LGA...

Catman, does this work for you?
Benjamin, gonna join us?

5:30 is probably impossible, unless I work from home that day. I work in NJ, but live in NYC.

Indeed, you can catch the Lexington Avenue line at 51st, get off at 125th and take the M60 bus straight to LGA!

I might be able to get there around 6pm but it really depends on how work is going that day.
