I have several cat sitting clients flying out that night so traffic is going to be heavy. Plus at 7p (or a little earlier) you may be dealing with those people trying to get to theatre early.

Do you think you may want to move up the start time to like 5pm and people can just join us as they get in?

Although you are the official organizer so you would make the final call.

Edited to add: 5am might be a little early for you MA. After all you need to earn those extra double snoring miles! ;)

For the record, the 8:35 has cancelled once again this evening.

STOP THAT! You're making me nervous. Kind of the good situation I would like to have next Tuesday. The 7:07pm flight left at 11:58pm. Lots of extra time in the city! :p

My saga tonight of planes, trains and automobiles ;)

You saved me having to check when that flight finally left as I was scheduled to be on the 7pm flight, I opted for the train instead. Trains were running full so the first one I could get on tonight was the 6.45pm - the Vermonter. It was scheduled to arrive into Union Station/DC at 10pm. I was planning to get car service from Union Station to Dulles where my car was parked. Best laid plans and all of that, I cancelled the car service once they announced outside of Baltimore that the rail service between Baltimore & DC was shut down completely. About 10.40 we caught a taxi outside the train station in Baltimore down to Dulles and I just got home a little while ago. A very long day just because I have a morning meeting that I will now likely sleep through!!

It must be a sign of the apocalypse. The 8:35 Mesa LGA-IAD left ON TIME tonight and is expected to arrive at IAD ON TIME.

and one more falls away ... i'm pretty much taking OJ intraveneously at the moment so will be trying for an earlier flight tomorrow in the hopes I'll be able to get a solid night's sleep before I need to leave again the next day.
