For previous Secret Santa'ers... what kinds of gifts have you given in the past that have been appreciated/enjoyed? I am a lowly PLT on AA so I dont have any of those EVIPs or whatever stuff to give so just wondering what makes a good gift for someone.
-Corey... hopeful good boy for SS2006 (unlike Derek who already knows he is one lol)!

I was able to find a recipient's favorite cologne that way. She was pleased.
And in the old days I had a stash of Delta free drink coupons. I included a couple of those.

I am mostly moved into our new (first!) home and the internet is up and running. I would love to participate again this year. I will try to send a PM later tonight. Thanks for doing this again! -Shakti

Of course, I'm in again.
Last year I was amazed at what I received. Very impressed. My gifts to the others were no where as impressive, but I still hope they were enjoyed.
I actually like to know who my benefactors are and didn't know how to send items thru the postal service anonymously--so I wasn't a "secret" santa. Oh, well!!

If you volunteer to be an int'l giftgiver, no option on being anonymous w/ that paperwork.
Just a reminder to some that while the limit is a bit more, when posting overseas you might want to under-declare a smidgen so the recipient doesn't get hit w/ customs fees. A lot of countries let items up to twenty-five $ go through w/ no problem.
Cheers.

Looking forward to SS 2006! Last year, I had so much fun shopping for gifts! The "hunt" is on...
Last year, part of my package contained unique items from a local shop that I knew my recipient couldn't purchase where they lived....
It was a pleasure to meet the person who received my package later in the year at the KC BBQ DO!

Santa Update,
All members who have met the posting requirements have been detailed in the second post.
Santa is off on a three week business trip to Singapore, Brussels and London. Hopefully, he will be able to get some shopping done while gone.
As such, you may not see any updates to this thread for awhile... do not let that stop you from signing up.

Not only the customs fees/duties, but more importantly in some places it can make the difference between goodies arriving on time or not. Eg in NZ customs interception can easily add a week to delivery time.
