Update:

Well, it was not my lucky night: I finished 12th out of 13.

I was in the small blind with A 10, everyone folded to me and so I raised the big blind, jcooketo 150 (from 40). He reraised to 300, and I called. So, 600 in the pot.

Flop was A Q 10, so I was feeling good. I bet $400 and jcooke went all in. I called, but sadly he had K J giving him the nut straight

Next time you guys are all in BIG trouble!!!

The first FlyerTalk Poker tournament is over and JerryGuitar is the champion! He cracked my Aces early and carried my chips to victory.

We all decided to make it a regular weekly event so let's double the size of the tournament next week!

I finally registered on the Full Tilt site last night (too late for the tourney, but thanks QL for the pointers on Neteller etc). Still learning to navigate the site, so I still have one question:
How do we know which one is the FlyerTalk $10 tourney? I saw the password listed in the first post, but what if there are multiple private tournies happening at the same time--just keep trying to register until you find the right one?

Thanks--looking forward to next week.

if you narrow down the tournament choices by clicking the "private" tab, there shouldn't be too many starting at that time for that buy-in. once you click on the tournament lobby, it says "FlyerTalk" at the top. (at least that's how it worked this week). wasn't hard to find. there is also a tournament number that might be helpful to post after QL sets up the next one.

I registered last night to watch, but it was way too late by the time I got home. Would consider funding and playing - even began the process of opening a Neteller account - but I don't get home until around 9 PM Central on Thursday nights. Can you sign up to play and come in a little late?

Sincerely,

Yes. You'll be forced to post blinds and your hands will be folded, but you can pick up where you left off.

Yikes. Sounds like I would need to get home in a hurry. An hour's worth of blinds and I might not have anything left.
