the inventor of this idea is out - my boss scheduled me to work and i can't get out of it.
hopefully this will become semi-regular so I can participate later.
i'll continue to promote it though since I do think it's a good idea.

Yeah, I'd love to play. I even have an account at Full Tilt (among many others) already! I'll be in Austin that week and that's the day I hoped to see a singer perform.
I'll play if I don't end up going. I've watched Quiet Lion play...I think I can beat him!! haha...joking

Thank you
Thank you QuietLion for this thread, thank you to the person with the original proposal, and thank you Randy for moving it out of OMNI so that newbies like me without status/access can also become involved.
QuietLion I hope that you will include this tournament in your Blog, which is great reading. I don't know if I'll be awake at the time of this tourney, so will try to be there if I'm awake and available away from work deadlines.
This is yet another fun dimension to the FT community- thank you to everyone who has helped me this month.

Cool! I should be able to play in this tourney.
Is there any limit to the number of FTers that can enter?

Poker Tournament = ^
Non-Mac-compatible poker tournament =
Anybody know if Full Tilt is Mac-compatible? It wasn't last time I checked (and yes QuietLion, I know you're sponsored there (I think?) so it was a natural choice)
I'm in for sure if I can do it from my hotel with my PowerBook, otherwise I'll have to wait for one during work hours when I have access to a PC

If there is a second tourney (for those who can't make this one?)
I propose Poker Room. It seems to be reputable, uses Neteller just like Full Tilt, and is Mac-friendly.

I don't like Poker Room much. I think Ultimate Bet is pretty reputable but I'm not sure they offer the tournaments with passwords. Theirs you have to submit the day before who is going to play I believe. Poker Stars has the same kind of private tournament though where you just register by entering a password.
I don't think there is anything wrong with Full Tilt though. It's reputable if that's a concern. There are so many pros involved their names would be dirt if there were "issues".
