Hold 'em Poker anyone? Low stakes!

Can we try again to revive the ft poker tourney? I dropped out during the summer, but enjoyed the few times I played. ^

It's your chance to beat one of the guys you see on TV and brag to all your friends! (Well, I never beat him... but others did!) :p

PS: I need to fund fulltilt if it's on... I got $ in neteller so shouldn't be a problem.

I would play if we can get it going again.

I'm in... what time & day again? I dropped it from my calendar a few months back when nobody was showing up regularly...

A little Poker NE 1???

Well I would play - too. Just as an unpdate. Mom played in the World Series from her $4.00 buy in games at Full Tilt. Won her way into various tourneys and finally to the Rio and the event....Sad to say she did not win. :(

But alas - I am not so hot of a poker player and y'all could surely use my money!

Yeah, I finally moved (2 weeks ago!!) to a normal time zone so I may be able to play. Sadly, I moved from one non-poker-being-legal state to another. :( boohoo (Oh, Alaska to Texas for anyone who is interested)

I stopped playing when there were only 1 or 2 FTer's playing. I think QL got tired of having no people, so he let other people on Full Tilt know about it, which just wasn't the same.

I'm in Europe right now, so it'd be pretty difficult to play it with the time difference, but once I'm back to the West coast, I'd be happy to play.

The FlyerTalk Poker Tournament
Come join us for our weekly FlyerTalk poker tournament!

Site: Full Tilt Poker
Date: Every Wednesday Evening
Time: 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT)
Buy in: $10+$1
Game: No-Limit Hold 'Em
Password: arturo (you will need this to register)

You will need to have $11 in your real money account to play this tournament. It is already open for registration, so if you're going to be a little late you can sign up and you will be blinded off until you arrive. Once the tournament starts registration is closed.

To install Full Tilt Poker software on your PC:

Click on this link if you want me to get credit for your signup (or go directly to the web site if you don't) and then click the download button on the site.

To get money into your account:

The best way is to set up a Neteller account and use the Instacash option to get money into Full Tilt. Full Tilt pays the commission for your first Instacash deposit. After that you may want to use the regular free checking deposit.

If you have a non-US Visa or Mastercard you may be able to use it directly to deposit. Most US cards will not work although some debit cards will. You can use EPassporte to create a non-US vitrual Visa and then use that to fund your account. EPassporte charges a minimum of $5 to do this.

To register for the tournament:

1. After logging in, click on the Tournaments Tab near the top of the window.
2. Underneath the tournament list is are more tabs. Click on "Private."
3. Look for a Hold 'Em tournament at 21:00 on the right date. If I am registered the room will be in red, which makes it easier to see.
4. Double-click on the tournament listing.
5. Click on "Register" near the top of the window. You will need money in your account and the password (above).

Go to first post for links to work...

The way I see it, if there aren't at least a couple dozen players, it probably will fail again because of conflicts, loss of interest, etc.

I'll be there - if you know other FTers, encourage them to play. ^

I don't think there were every 24 players in the game. Maybe 18 or 20 at the height. If we get 9-15 players, that's a fine mix.

Am I missing something, or is/  was there no tournament posted?

I've reinstated the tournament but I can't play when I'm home in Seattle because they outlawed online poker in Washington State.

Yeah, I've actually withdrawn all my money out of the various poker sites until things cool down. We'll see what happens. :(

I cashed out of PP, but am still playing at FTP. If passed into law, they'll have 270 days to comply, and you can bet that FTP will take every bit of that, given that Howard Lederer is on the PPA board.

For reference, here's a link to the various sites' announcements & press releases regarding the new law: Press Releases

I'm cashing out all but a small amount from PartyPoker, based on their announcement that they're planning to freeze all US-based accounts. FTP should be safe, especially considering there will be 270 days for all parties to impelement the restrictions passed into law, and with Howard Lederer on the PPA board, I've got confidence that FTP will give you plenty of warning before they do anything out of the ordinary.
