I hope rjhollan pays my entry fee for next week's event. It was only the 2 of us .. and I didn't home until 2230 EST and had already run thru my stack (tourney only took 11 minutes to run - it started at 2200 EST)

It was just the two of us... I was here when it started and you got blinded out. If there was a third player I don't think it would have run so quickly as we'd have seen more flops. :)

Yep - I was hoping there would be a full house tonight once I figured out I wouldn't make the 2200 ET start time ....

I showed up early, but the internet cafe here in Jakarta is slooooow, so couldn't d/l and install the software until it had started. I got there just in time to see Jay blind out. Next week hopefully.

I'll be there next week (hopefully).

BTW, I usually avoid poker at all costs... but, how can I resist a FlyerTalk event ! ;)

I was provided my re-match tonight ... and won back the $10 I blinded away last week.

...or is this tourney dead? I saw QL on the Travel Channel tonight. He was in the top 30 of the PPT at Foxwoods playing with Eli Ezra & Jennifer Harman. Good show!

Funny, I just remembered that I saw QL in Vegas. I was down there to take part in some WSOP events. I was watching Daniel Negreanu playing in some Omaha event. QL was right there at the table. I waited for a little bit to introduce myself but a good time never came. I didn't want to disturb his playing.

I dropped by the WSOP when I was in Vegas a week ago. Saw some big names, but didn't see QL. Of course there are so many people there, it would be amazing if I had in the hour or so I was there. I went into the Full Tilt lounge, but didn't see any QL 8 x 10 pics they were giving out.

I had hoped there was a "Dunk Phil Helmuth" booth in the Ultimate Bet lounge, but no such luck. :(

While I have nothing poker-related to contribute here, I just thought I'd mention that I saw QuietLion on TV the other day playing poker. The commentators made mention of his nickname being "Quiet Lion", and of course I knew right away that they were speaking of FT's own QuietLion. I didn't watch more than a few minutes, so I don't know how it turned out for you, QL, but hopefully it went well.

Is this tourney still going?

I'm registered, but at T-minus-2-hours I'm the only one again... :(

Just checked...nobody registered...I will just play in the 20K I guess.
